For all 3 hats
**Pattern notes Instead of my usual hdc I am doing sc as my beginning round
** I simply slip stitch in the top of the beginning stitch of each round
**Starting in round 4 I started the seed stitch but instead of the pattern in previous round I did 2 double crochet for my increases
** we should be single crocheting in each stitch for round 4 to round 8 until otherwise specified to increase but doing 2 double crochets
** round 8 we only increase 4 times in this round
**round 9 we just do a single crochet for this one
**round 10 we will now do the seed stitch by doing a single crochet in one stitch then a double crochet in the next stitch repeat throughout the round
**round 11 we will do the moss stitch which is  this pattern as follows  : sc ch1 skst
**round 12 we will be going back to the seed stitch by using this pattern  sc , dc  repeat until length desired be sure to crochet in the ch1 stitch also

when finished be sure to gently stretch the hat to adjust so its not so tight . Im guilty of crocheting tight so this was helpful

2nd hat basically the same as 1st hat just do your increases in the 1st 4 rounds
