The star 🌟

With spring quickly approaching I came across pinterest one evening and seen a couple crochet flops !!
I wear flip flops all the time until I got older and started wearing slides.
I felt better not having the stiff plastic stick like in between my big and 2nd toe
So anyways I thought why not make my own design on crochet flip flip
So here you go

Materials needed
Red heart super saver bright stripe
Hook 5mm
Flip flops whatever size is needed
Yarn needle
Super adhesive fabric glue ( optional)

Abbreviations
Sc. Single crochet.         Ch. Chain
Slst. Slip stitch.               Hk. Hook
Insert hk pull up yarn go in next st pull up yarn repeat in the next 4 more time have a total of 6 loops on the hk you then yarn over pull through all 6 loops ch1

First part
Attach to one side of flip flop with yarn by doing a sc ch1 , sc , ch1 , sc , ch1 repeat pattern going along the side I did approximately 38sc depends on the size flip flop you would the ch2 then attach to other side and sc , ch1 , sc , ch1 repeat until total is also 38sc on other side . slst weave in ends

Second part
Attach sc then begin doing the star stitch watch video if needed. .I made a total of star stitches going on one side then ch2 then did star stitches along other side . slst weave in

3rd part
I then attached in center part by doing 2 seperate sets on ch50 this is the part you could use to tie behind the ankle .
Using the glue I just placed a little behind a couple strands of yarn to help secure it. But of course this is optional you dont have to .  The yarn depending on the wear and tare of you using the flip flops you probably might make the yarn move around might that is
Well I hope you enjoyed making these like I did

I ask you please dont sell this pattern. Please give give all recognition to me the creater of the design . If you sell the finished product I ask if you put it on social media you tag me in it please I greatly appreciate it please leave comments below on how it turned out if it was easy or not I did create a video tutorial for this project the last minute it shut off showing the 2nd set of chs for the tie no biggy instructions are in the blog.
